DeAndre King was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. King began his classical training at the age of five years old on the violin. During middle school he switched to the viola. He was heavily involved in his middle school orchestra and played with the college orchestra during his freshman year of High School. During high school he took piano and organ lessons. He furthered his education at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in viola performance. DeAndre began teaching music via Skype to students around the world including Germany, Asia, Canada, and the United States. He has worked as an on call pianist for a record label and is credited in several CDs with various groups. He is an active performer and frequently plays for weddings and other events in Huntsville and the surrounding areas. He is classically trained but enjoys a wide range of music styles.He has been involved with the Huntsville Symphony orchestra and was the principal violist for the Shoals Symphony orchestra. He has served for Valley Conservatory as their strings coordinator and conductor of the advanced string ensemble. He is currently the director of the 2nd grade violin program for Decatur Youth Symphony and organist for Christ Church of North Alabama.
